Just out of curiosity, I wanted to figure out exactly how much time I'll be training between now and IMFL. Beginning with the first week of my 20 week training plan through the end of IM, I will:
Run 557.1 miles (28 down, 529.1 to go!)
Be running for approximately 107 hours (4.5 days)
Spend 113 hours on my bike (4.7 days)
Spend nearly 51 hours in the pool (2.1 days)
Spend a grand total of 271 hours training (11.3 days)
There is something seriously wrong with that! But at the same time, I feel like it's not ENOUGH time!

You are right!!! When you break down the training, and you come out with 11.3 days out of 140 days, it sounds kind of weird. Otherwise if you take it as a percentage you will be spending about 8% of your time training for this, and that is very reasonable. With all we go through nowadays, I never feel like I could even get in 5% for training.

271 hours???????? You go girl! Here's a fun thought: when your flabby coworkers, friends, relatives, etc. are envious of how buff you are.... Yeah... 271 hours baby! Tri it! It's all worth it!
